Gor Mahia’s Head Coach, Sinica Mihic, has dismissed two of his assistants, Zedekiah “Zico” Otieno and Michael Nam, along with Team Manager Victor Nyaoro.
This decision follows Mihic’s claim that some members of the technical bench were hindering his progress. In a statement given at the training ground in Thika, the Croatian coach expressed frustration, stating that the technical bench had been sabotaging his efforts, which made it challenging to implement his plans for the team’s advancement.
“There is no way I’m going to work with them because I can’t be blackmailed. These are people I have tried to work with—I even lent them money. I’ve also used my own resources to support some of our activities out of goodwill. Why are they sabotaging and fighting against me?” he said, as reported by the Daily Nation.
Gor Mahia is scheduled to face KCB on Sunday, October 6th, in an FKF Premier League match to be held at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
