Gor Mahia head coach Johnathan McKinstry has urged K’Ogalo faithful to turn out in large numbers and support the team in thé for the coming season. The head coach has emphasized that the K’Ogalo faithful will play a vital role in their campaign next season.

K’Ogalo have endured low fan turnout in recent years, a state that has been caused by poor performance and strong argument dwelling on the club management.

McKinstry promised K’Ogalo followers a brand new entertaining football style and has urged followers to come back to the stadium in numbers as they use to do in previous years.

“What I can say to the fans is that when you are coming for games it doesn’t matter who it’s against, it’s going to be 100 miles per hour, it’s going to be intense, physical and we are going to look to play on the front foot”, McKinstry said

“It will be enjoyable for them to come and watch and supporters should play their role. I know it has been a challenging year coming out of the Covid-19 pandemic and the transfer situation but they can play a big role in the coming season,” the Irish tactician added.

Over the years Gor Mahia has enjoyed boisterous support no matter where their games are hosted which has played a crucial role in their dominance in the last decade.

McKinstry added that with a majority of their squad comprised of young players following the FIFA transfer ban, fans will be needed to cheer on the inexperienced team.

We have a lot of young players on the team who will need the support of the fans, when young players feel the support and passion, they can raise their game significantly.

If we can play in front of large crowds and full stadiums who will put their full support behind us, then that will greatly benefit us,” added McKinstry.
