Gor Mahia FC have resumed training ahead of the 2022/2023 FKF Premier League. The team had a light training session at Camp Toyoyo in the morning.
The atmosphere at Camp Toyoyoy was refreshing after a long break with most of the players present while others remaining are expected to report by Tuesday 26th.
Team Captain Philemon Otieno was upbeat and assured fans that the team will do its best to clinch the title this season.
“We started out pre-season today and well, the mood is good and our expectation is to do well thins coming season and we are very optimistic we will become champions”, the captain said during training.
K’ogalo finished third in 2021/2022 FKF Premier League, 8 points drift from the league champions Tusker FC.
Team manager Jolawi Obondo has urged fans to resume their passionate duty and return to the stadium to support the team.
“My urge to you people is that you come back to watch us from town to Kasarani”, Obondo said.
The FKF Premier League season kick-off date is set for August.
