And now, to some good news, record premier league champions Gor Mahia have landed a new sponsorship deal with local gaming firm Spotika.
The deal is a blessing not only to the club but also to their long-term rival AFC Leopards; the two clubs will receive a total of Ksh 130million per year, with Gor Mahia set to receive 70 million while Ingwe will receive 60 million per year.
The two clubs were left in a state of limbo after Betsafe announced the termination of their annual sponsorship to the two sides at the end of the just-concluded season.
The money comes in handy for the two sides as it will help offset outstanding salary arrears and bonuses.
