As the much-talked-about “Masemeji” Derby approaches, Gor Mahia team have called upon followers to flock to the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani on Sunday 8th to support the team. The team faces off its arch-rival AFC Leopards and a big clash to be played from 3.00 PM.
K’Ogalo’s captain and right back Philemon Otieno called on loyal fans to be at Kasarani on Sunday and give the support the team needs.
“Derby is a special game to us and our fans. I can assure our fans we have prepared well for that game and we are hopeful of getting positive results come Sunday. I urge all our fans to turn up in large numbers and support us’, Otieno said.
This was echoed by Gor Mahia forward Benson Omalla who encouraged K’Ogalo supporters to join the spectating wagon and give the team the necessary support needed.
“We really appreciate fans who have been rallying behind us and we urge others to come in large numbers to offer support starting with this Sunday’s derby. Your Support is needed”, Omalla said.
AFC Leopards is hoping to end what has been a turbulent spell for them in the derby, they have not beaten K’Ogalo since March 6th 2016 at Moi International Sports Center Kasarani.
The matcj kick-off time will be 3.00 PM.
