Gor Mahia completed a double over Wazito after condemning the struggling side to a 2-1 defeat in an FKF Premier League match staged at the William Ole Ntimama Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The two teams had met a fortnight ago at the same venue for the first leg where Gor Mahia picked a 1-0 win over the Fred Ambani-led team.

Gor Mahia went ahead in the 18th minute through George Odhiambo who scored the lone goal of the first leg, the veteran forward headed past Bixente Otieno to give Gor a lead that lasted for just two minutes as James Kinyanjui would restore parity in the 20th minute after pouncing on a Gad Mathews spill, the keeper failed to collect a Rooney Onyango cross and the Wazito number ten capitalized to score his second goal in Wazito colors.

The second half was evenly fought until the 80th minute when Wazito were reduced to ten men after Rooney Onyango was dismissed for a second booking. Immediate Mara Sugar FC striker Parmenas Ochola came off the bench to mark his debut with the winning goal.
