Three goals were enough to silence the stubborn Posta Rangers in the FKF Premier League match played at Moi International Sports Center – Kasarani.

K’Ogalo came to the game much charged, with the aim to neutralize their previous dismal performance against the mail-men when they lost 3-0 at Thika Municipal Stadium in Thika town on January 26, 2022.

Peter Lwasa opened the scoresheet in the 9th minute of the game after a well-coordinated pass from Boniface Omondi, driving the ball past the Rangers goalkeeper Kevin Opiyo.

K’Ogalo continued to pile pressure for the second goal, unable to beat the halftime mark and leaving the nest mission for the second half.

New head coach Andreas Spier responded in the second half a double substitution bringing in f his own at the start of the second half resting Austin Odhiambo and Jules Ulimwengu for John Ochieng and George Odhiambo respectively.

The changes almost produces the second goal eight minutes later when Jules Ulimwengu broke free on the left flank but his shot was warded off by Opiyo.

Samuel Onyango gave K’Ogalo a second goal after Vincent Wasambo handed Boniface Omondi’s shot, making the referee point the penalty spot.

Striker Sando Yangayay gave K’ogalo a convincing lead in the 82nd minute as ran through on goal unmarked rounding the Rangers custodian with a stunning shot into the net.

Posta pulled one goal making it 3-1 at the final whistle.
