The two were expected to return with the team but were denied an exit pass with Congolese authorities stating they will be quarantined for the next 8 days and done another test before they leave if the result comes negative.

With a lean squad, K’Ogalo will be counting on the other two players who had injuries to recover to strengthen the squad for the return let. The two players are Philemon Otieno and Sydney Ochieng who traveled but were not able to play as they had picked injuries at home.

Gor Mahia is one game away to qualify for the prestigious African League Group Stage. The match will be played on Sunday 5th 2021 at Nyayo National Stadium.
