Gor Mahia suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to the host AS Otôho d’Oyo in a CAF Confederation Match played at Stade Alphonse Massamba Debat in Brazaville this evening.
The two teams went to the break with a barren draw, but the host pulled a win in the 64th minute of the game – goal courtesy of Okouri.
K’Ogalo did not do any substitute as the players on the reserve had injuries and players’ controversy over the COVID-19 test. Foward Jules Ulimwengu and midfielder John Ochieng’ were alleged to have tested positive.
The return leg is scheduled for Sunday 5th December 2021 at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi. K’Ogalo will have to beat AS Otoho d’Oyo by two goals to nill or a win with a big margin of goal difference.
