Gor Mahia extended their unbeaten run in game four of FKF Premier League after beating Sofapaka 1-0 in a match played Moi International Sports Center – Kasarani.

Having won three out of three games before the clash, K’Ogalo were looking to carry that fine form into their fourth game of the season with a chance to go top of the table on the line.

Jules Ulimwengu grabbed the only goal in the 25th minute of the game capitalizing on a well-calculated move, displacing Sofapaka’s defense with a classic pass from Austine Odhiambo.

Sofapaka got back to the game and almost equalized but David King’atua’s strike his the crossbar before it was cleared by Fanck Odhiambo with immediate renounce going over the bat.

Sofapaka came back more determined and with energy to equalize, but their intentions were well monitored by K’Ogalo’s solid defense. The Batoto ba Mungu intentions almost paid off in the 68th minute through Sunday Ikekhai who rose for a powerful header but Adama Keita rose to the occasion pushing the ball from the goal line.

Sensing serious danger from Sofapaka’s side, K’Ogalo made the changes, resting Jules Ulimwengu, John Macharia, and Peter Lwasaa and bringing in Super-sub that includes captain Haron Shakava, Alpha Onyango, and John Ochieng’.

K’Ogalo no have 4 wins with 12 points after 4 games.
