Gor Mahia were held 1-1 by Bodco United in an FKF Premier League played at Ruaraka grounds this evening.
Jules Ulimwengu gave K’Ogalo the opener in the 37th minute of the game making the defending champions hang to the narrow lead till the first half break.
But Bidco United came in the second half charged to level and their zealous approach yielded the fruit, 3 minutes in the second half with Peter Anyona leveling.
Mark Harrison was however a disappointed man after the game, feeling his team gave an easy goal to the opponent who had no open chance throughout the game.
The equalizer was caused by K’Ogalo’s defense mishap after Bidco’s Anthony Odhiambo long free-kick was easily tapped by Anyona.
” I am disappointed with the points we have dropped today. Our opponents did not create any open chance in the game as opposed to us who had more than five,” he said.Â
K’Ogalo’s ball display was however impressive as Harrison had premised, bringing the ball to the ground and showing dominance in passes with the ball kissing the grass, but the ground was not favorable for such display as Harrison lamented.
K’Ogalo won the first leg 3-1 on March 22nd, 2021 at Moi International Sports center Annex.
