Gor Mahia is set to meet the winner between South Sudanese side Atlabara FC and Al Ahly SC in a CAF Confederation Cup second round to be staged in mid-October.
This comes after Kenya’s quarter-finalist got a perfect node and was given a bye to the first preliminary round for the prestigious African Cup.
The Kenya defending champions have participated in the CAF games 5 times since 2009, reaching groups stages in 2018 and quarter finale in 2018-2019.
