Gor Mahia went down 2-1 to Kariobangi Sharks in a FKF Premier League Mmatch playerd at Thika Municipal Stadium these evening.
The first goal, throght the panalt came in the 20th minute of the game after John Ochieng’ dangerously tackled Sharks forward James Mazembe. Eric Kapaito stepped up to convert from the spot, sending Gad Mathews the wrong way to give Sharks the lead.
Sharks got the second goal in the 70th minute Robert Onyango who drove the ball past an advancing Mathews to double their lead.
K’ogalo consolation goal came through substitute Jules Ulimwengu in the 87th minute but their efforts to force a share of spoils were put off as Sharks who brought on Eric Juma for Mazembe in the added minutes defended resolutely until the final whistle.
