K’Ogalo great friend Chris Kirubi passes on

Gor Mahia fraternity in mourning the greatest fried, Industrialist and entrepreneur Chris Kirubi who passed on today after a long illness.

Chris has been instrumental in local sports, assisting Gor Mahia at times of need. Kirubi facilitated Gor Mahia’s partnership deal with Two Rivers Development Limited that has seen the Kenyan Premier League champions get a training ground and a gym. The function was graced by the club patron and former Prime Minister Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga.

The patron, a close and dear friend to the late has sent a message of condolence, terming the demise of the most celebrated entrepreneur as a hard-working man and a mentor to many in the business world.

“Chris Kirubi was my friend and one to many others and a mentor to even more. He was a dedicated entrepreneur and philanthropist who helped scores of Kenyans over time. My heartfelt condolences go to his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched. Rest In Peace Chris.”, read the PM Twitter post.

Kirubi leaves behind two children, Robert Kirubi and Mary-Ann Musangi.
