Despite Gor Mahia endorsing the broadcast deal through a letter signed by club Secretary-General Sam Ocholla, Rachier had maintained the club had not signed the same. He went further and wrote a letter withdrawing the earlier one that Ocholla had sent.
Previously, the Lawyer maintained the club will not support a broadcast deal they had not seen. This led to the suspension of Ocholla – a move that was eventually reversed after the two leaders solved their differences.
