Gor Mahia FC has confirmed the new signing of Brazilian striker Wilson Silva Fonseca. The club announces the new forward during Friday training at Camp Toyoyo – Nairobi.
“We are pleased to announce the arrival of striker Wilson Silva Fonseca from Fortaleza FC, Brazil,” Gor Mahia announced on Friday.
Silva becomes the third Brazilian to sign at Gor Mahia even though the previous signing never featured in any competitive game at Gor.
Giovani Rodriguez Bissolli was signed in 2013 but failed to live up to expectations generated by his arrival.
Silva’s arrival comes a day after midfielder Bernard Ondiek has left the club after his contract expired.
The team will be at the coastal region this Sunday to face the dockers – Mandari FC in the BetKing Premier League slated for Sunday 31st january 2021 (Click here to check on Gor Mahia fixture and result)
The team will then shift focus to the Caf Confederation Cup where they are set to face Zambian side Napsa Stars on February 14 at Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi.
