Gor Mahia office has warned its member and fans not to send any money to any body or individual not authorized by the club’s EC.

A communication has been relayed to the press and publich throug the office of club’s secretary general and copied to members.

“The club will nor take any loss experienced for monies obtained from the public for the above purposes, and warning has been issues not to deal in these underhand dealings with such individuals acting in malice to swindle out loyal supporters”, reads the leter.

The later came after a club ‘official’ Dolfina had sent request to 40 fans willing to attend Saturday match against Vihiga United to 500/- through her personal MPESA account.

With the Government reinforcement of COVID-19 rules by not allowing fans to attend matches, the “official relayed the message encouraging fans to attend the match by paying the fee.

“Good afternoon members, we only have tomorrow to our matches and we need to make payments including securing the stadium, we have decided that anyone who wants to be in the match attendance list should pay 500.”, rads the message

” So the first 40 people to send me their 500 by tonight will be considered in the list. If you send after list is full we shall refund you your money back. I think this is the first forum am sharing this initiative because you are bona-fide members of the club. The other contributions from well wishers should not stop because we are in great deficit in the already played matches. Thank you for your support and God bless you”, Dolfina message continued.

Gor Mahia will face Vihiga United on Saturday 23rd January 2021 in a FKFPL match to be played at Kasarani from 3.00 p.m.
