It was another low performance at Kasarani when KPL defending Champions Gor Mahia went down 4-3 to Kariobangi Sharks on Sunday Afternoon.

Gor Mahia went to the game with the new coach Carlos Manuel Vaz Pinto on the spectator’s bench to watch the team performance.

This is the second defeat in the FKFPL campaign after the teal lost 2-1 to Tusker FC on December 16th, 2020.

Erick Kapaito 5th minute opener saw Shaks lead in early stages of the game before Clifton Mieso leveled in the 9 minutes later.

Halftime saw Sharks go to the break with a 3-1 lead. But the second half saw the defending champions pull more pressure with John Macharia making it 3-2 and Joachim Oluoch leveling 3-3 in the 52nd and 66th minutes respectively.

However, a suprise winning goal came in the 78th minute throughGeoffrey John Chol Kuol making K’Ogalo struggle to come back.

K’Ogalo are 16th in the Leagure table having played 3 games with one (1) win and 2 loses.
