Gor Mahia FC Assistant Captain Phillemon Otieno has apologised to all club’s stakeholders for what has been termed as the biggest los in K’Ogalo football history in recent years.

Gor Mahia fans watched in awe as the team went down 6-0 to the host CRB in the first leg of CAF Champions League First Round played in Algiers.

K’Ogalo captain in charge on the fateful night told followers it was a big learning process.

“On behalf of fellow players, l would like to apologise for the loss against Belouizdad. It’s football and we learnt our lessons…”

“It’s a wake up call for us to pull up  if we want to achieve our goals for this season,” added the Captain.

The team face an uphill task onnthe return leg scheduled for January 6th 2021 where they will have to pull a convincing win with more that 6 goals to nill at home.

Where this is possible is a question that will be of great debate in the few days to come.
