The songstress passed on at 3 am on Saturday in Uriri, Migori where she was recuperating after she was discharged from hospital last week, her family said.
With her hit song K’OGALO praising Gor Mahia Lady, Maureen has been instrumental in promoting Kenya’s undisputed Champions and her song played everywhere whenever the team goes to play.
On his official social media pages, Gor Mahia patron Dr. Raila Amolo Odinga send a message of condolence to the family of the late.
He termed the Maureen as immensely talented and very dynamic; always adapting to new trends in a very competitive music industry.
The songbird has struggled with an illness for a while and ours heartfelt condolence goes to the family.
