It was a joy in the face of a young Kisumu fan who received gifts from Gor Mahia midfielders Francis Kahata after his picture wearing a torn brown t-shirt with Kahata’s name and jersey number written on his back with a pen went viral.
Lawrence Juma was on the scoresheet as Kogalo edged Kariobangi Sharks 2-1 in a match played at Moi Stadium in Kisumu on Saturday 30th.
After the match, Kahata showed a humane part of him in sports by gifting a young fan from Ahero, Kisumu a macro Jersey and brand new pair of boots.
The Harambee stars midfielder is said to have been moved by pictures showing the boy donning a faded top which had ‘Kaata 8’ inscribed at the back.
The midfielder got a chance to meet the young fan after their league fixture against Kariobangi Sharks and took time to pose for a few pictures with him.
