Gor Mahia junior team started off their new season with a good 2-1 win over Bomas of Kenya yesterday at Bomas, Nairobi.
Goals from Afayo Oyugi in just 12 minutes into the match and another effort from Keith lmbali on the 23rd minute were all the lads needed to kick off their 2019 season on a good note.
The juniors team manager  who is also a former Gor Mahia goalkeeper Jerim Onyango says he is impressed with his team’s fighting spirit.
“It was a good match and our boys showed character though the pitch was not all that good. I appreciate our boys for the good fighting spirit which helped us win the match,” Onyango told Gor Mahia website.
