Striker Dennis Oliech opened his goals account at Gor Mahia as he helped the team beat Posta Rangers 2-1 in a league match at Kasarani today.
Defender Charles Momanyi had put the defending champions on the lead on the 26th minute before Rangers equalized on the 41st minute.
New signing Oliech restored Gor Mahia’s lead in additional time of opening half and that marked his journey towards achieving his season’s target of being the league’s top scorer.
Second half had little excitement as the match ended 2-1 and with the win, Gor Mahia moved up the table to position five after six matches played – four points behind league leaders Mathare United.
