Gor Mahia lost to Kariobangi Shark in a KPL match played at Kasarani on 29th December 2018 at 3.00 pm.
Despite piling pressure to Sharks side with missed chances from Jacque Tuyisenge and Samuel Onyango, Kariobangi Shark only chance bore fruit in the 17th minute when Patilah Omotto pinged in a long long pass from his own half that found Duke Abuya to convert with a long loop that found Boniface Olouch oof his goal line.
39th minute chance came for equalizer, but George Odhiambo’s cross that found Ephrem Guikan inside the box to push a header was cleared off the line by a last-ditch effort from Nixon Omondi.
Gor Mahia pushed for an equalizer but Sharks defense were up to the task. The entry of Mustapha was evidenced, but his presence was short-lived when he got injured in the 82nd minute after a collision by Geoffrey Shiveka.
