He becomes the second player in recent years to reach 50 goals for Gor Mahia in official competitions after Meddie Kagere – this excludes friendlies and invitational tournaments such as the regional SportPesa Cup.Tuyisenge got his 50 goals in 97 appearances, faster than Meddie Kagere who reached 50 goals in 101 appearances.His goals include 38 in the league, five in CAF tournaments, 3 in CECAFA, 1 in the FKF SportPesa Shield, 2 in the Top 8 cup and 1 in the season opening DSTV Super Cup.
His 5 goals in CAF tournaments ranks him only behind Peter Dawo (14), Andrew Obunga (7) and Allan Thigo (6) in continental competitions for the clubHis goals have come against 27 different teams. He has scored more goals against Mathare United (5) than any other team followed by Nzoia, Kariobangi Sharks, and Thika United, all conceding four goals against Tuyisenge.
Since he joined the Kenyan Premier League in 2016, no player has scored more league goals than Tuyisenge (38).Tuyisenge is now joint 7th in the club’s all-time goal-scorers list across all competitions with Meddie Kagere. Only Sammy Onyango ‘Jogoo’, Allan Thigo, Hesbon Omollo, Peter Dawo, George Yoga and John Chore have scored more for the club.
