Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga who is also Gor Mahia patron will be joining the team in Liverpool today.
Odinga, who is a staunch football fan and has been supporting the club for so many years will be landing in Manchester at 11.20am (2.20pm Kenyan time).
As confirmed by SportPesa Assistant Manager of Partnerships Liz Muragu, the former PM will be accompanied by SportPesa CEO Ronald Karauki and Permanent Secretary Kirimi Kaberia and former Football Kenya Federation and seasoned politician Peter Kenneth.
“The former Prime Minister, SportPesa CEO Ronald Karauri, PS Kirimi Kaberia and Peter Kenneth will be landing at Manchester Airport at exactly 11.20am today,” Muragu told the official Gor Mahia website in Liverpool.
“They will be part of fans who will be watching tommorow’s friendly match between Gor Mahia and Everton at Goodison Park,” she added.
Gor Mahia have been training at Finch Farm (Everton’s training ground) for three days now in readiness for the much awaited duel.
