Gor Mahia will be facing Rayon Sports of Rwanda in their first match of Cecafa tournament today in Tanzania as from 2pm.
The last time Gor Mahia took part in the same tournament, they went all the to final and lost to Azam of Tanzania.
Gor Mahia head coach said the team has character to overcome any sort of pressure as they face opponents who happens to share with them a group in Caf Confederation Cup.
“We’re tired emotionally and physically but we have character which will overcome those two… ,” Kerr told the official Gor Mahia website.
The Briton added: “Pressure is on us daily… we can be bigger than that pressure or we could be hurt by it. My job is to get players motivated and have enthusiastic approach to this tournament.”
Gor Mahia played to a one all draw against Rayon Sports in Caf competition in Rwanda.
