Positive progress in Ochieng’ recovery process

Defender Wellington Ochieng’ has been out of action since he sustained ankle injury in a league match against Bandari in Machakos but so far so good in recovery process.

Gor Mahia Website team caught up with the defender in his ‘hideout’ just to find out how he is fairing on with the recovery process.

“I am doing well… Currently, I am undertaking light training session to get back in form and my physiotherapist is here to guide me and make sure I get it right, Wellington Ochieng’ – Defender

The right back player who was in a gleeful mood went ahead to say: “I have missed playing, have missed my teammates, have missed the ever amazing fans, have missed everything… It’s not easy staying out with a injury but I must thank Gor Mahia office for the support, my team-mates and fans who have constantly been checking on me and sending me encouraging messages, I’ll be back very soon.”

Ochieng’ is still under doctor’s supervision and a physiotherapist who is monitoring his training as he awaits further check-up before he can join the team.
