The good performance by Gor players in recent matches gave them a cut above many players thus giving them tickets to the national team.

Goalkeeper Boniface Oluoch leads the troops, Joash Onyango gets his first call up as well as Philemon Otieno who has been doing well in the absence of natural right back players in Karim Nizigiyimana and Wellington Ochieng.

Defender Haron Shakava also is in the squad as well as George Odhiambo, Francis Kahata and midfilder Humphrey Mieno.

Stars will be having two friendly matches against Swaziland and Equitorial Guinea this month.
