Gor Mahia head coach Dylan Kerr has said his side is ready to go all the way to keep their good run in the league.

This come after the Briton led his troops to another scintillating performance against USM Alger in Caf Confederation Cup fixture on Wednesday.

The tactician said despite the flu concerns in the team that are due to their extended program, they are ready for the challenge ahead and the aim is to keep their unbeaten run.

“We have some issues… some players may not be fully fit due to flu which comes from our extended programme but we are ready to battle and work hard to keep our unbeaten form,” Kerr told the official Gor Mahia website.

In a positive comment that plays a huge role in building the team’s spirit, Kerr appreciated the attitude of his players and the committment they have shown so far.

“Players’ attitudes have grown and they are now responsible for each performance… they are ready to fight to wear the green and white jersey. That’s a great factor in the team,” he noted.

Kerr added that Gor’s Sunday’s opponents (Sofapaka) are just like all other Kenya Premier League (KPL) teams who always want to get their better side but character and smart work will make the difference.

“Like all other KPL teams they (Sofapaka), want to beat us but we have to show character and also dig deep into our energy bank to be better than them.”

Gor Mahia will be keen to down Sofapaka to extend the lead at the top with some matches in hand.
