Kerr says Gor is ready for USM Alger

[dropcap]G[/dropcap]or Mahia head coach Dylan Kerr said today that his side is more than ready for tommorow’s Caf Confederation Cup fixture against USM Alger of Algeria.

The Briton was speaking during a Caf press conference at Kasarani where he showed confidence ahead of the Wednesday’s clash.

“We’ve played a number of matches and it’s been a learning curve where we learn in every game and try to be better everyday…

“We know what the match means and ours is to go for a win because if we win, we will most likely top the group. We’ve prepared well and we are ready for the challenge,” said Kerr.

The tactician says he believes in his players and what they can do when called upon.

“We always continue to work hard on what we have achieved so far and l am happy all players are up to the task. l believe in my players and their abilities and so we just have to focus on what we can do as a team in every match,” he added.

When asked about the absence of striker Meddie Kagere, Kerr said he will work with available players though will have to change his style of play to fit with the available players.

“With the absence of Meddie, we have to change our system of play to make Tuyisenge and Guikan be able to work as desired. l believe in my players… this is a great chance for other players as well and l will work with the available squad.”

The Group D match will kick off at 7pm at Kasarani stadium tommorow.
