[dropcap]C[/dropcap]onfederation of African Football on Friday confirmed the Confederation Cup between Gor Mahia and USM Alger of Algeria will be played at Kasarani on Wednesday at 7pm local time.
ln a latter addressed to Gor Mahia through Football Kenya Federation, Caf Secretary General Anthony Baffoe confirmed that the venue has been shifted from Machakos to Kasarani.
“We hereby inform you that for organization matters, it has been decided to change the venue of the match number 124 -CC 2018: Gor Mahia (Kenya) vs USM Alger (Algeria) in order to be played at Kasarani stadium in Nairobi on May 16 at 16:00 GMT – 19:00 local time…,” read the letter.
USM Alger will be arriving in the country on Monday and face the Kenya Premier League champions on Wednesday in what is viewed as a crunch match in Group D.
