Gor Mahia harvest maximum points in Kakamega

[dropcap]A[/dropcap] brace from striker Ephrem Guikan and a late effort by defender Charlse Momanyi helped Gor Mahia to pull a 3 -2 win over Kakamega Homeboyz in a league match at Bukhungu stadium in Kakamega today.

Gor went down in opening half just under 30 minutes before Guikan equalized just before the half break whistle.

Guikan would later put Gor Mahia ahead on the 55th minute before an equalizer on the 69th minute from Allan Wanga gave the hosts some hopes.

With just 10 minutes to the end of regular time, defender Charlse Momanyi banged in the all important goal to put the scoreline at 3 -2 in favour of the league leaders.

With today’s win, the lead at the top has been extended to 30 points from 12 matches played so far.

Congratulations to “Kogallo” the king of football in Kenya. Congratulations to all the players and the coaching staff for their optimism, focus and sheer hard work. Every profession has its own challenges hence sometimes poor attitudes from the fans could be one here. Its always difficult to keep the graph progressive however, such challenges should only motivate you to press on more instead of bending down. Good job gentlemen and may God sail you through. Play knowing that you are the heroes!!
