Gor Mahia striker Jacques Tuyisenge has revealed what makes him happy.  Talking to the official Gor Mahia website on Tuesday evening, the Rwandese player who joined the club last season said he is always happy to find back of the net and every goal is important to him.

Further, he appreciated the kind of players at the club who makes his stay in Kenya  comfortable.

“What makes me happy as a striker is to score goals. Every goal to me is important and it’s my happiness. Whenever I score, I thank God and even if I don’t score, I always thank God,” said the striker.

Tuyisenge who has banged in nine league goals so far – one behind league’s top scorer, says it’s all about hard work and he will continue working towards achieving even more at Gor Mahia.

“It’s the hard work we believe in as a team. I will continue putting efforts and strive to score more goals for my team and to increase my goals tally as well.

“At Gor Mahia, there are quality players who can pull good results and achieve greater things. The dedication and commitment in that team is just unbelievable.  That’s a  a wonderful family and I feel very much at home. As a player, I am so happy to be part of such a team,” he added.

The striker has scored crucial goals in many matches and just recently in two league matches (against Nzoia United and Chemelil Sugar), he netted four goals to help the team collect maximum points.

With his eyes set on the golden boot, the forward has set no target of goals this season but says he aims to score more and will appreciate what he will manage. “I will leave my goals target open but will for sure work hard to score more and whatever number of goals I will score this season, my appreciation will be to the most high and to my team mates as well as fans who are so supportive. Hopefully, I will get the top prize”

Tuyisenge will be remembered for scoring the famous goal against Everton in Tanzania in the SpotPesa friendly match in July where K’Ogalo went down 2-1 to the English Premier League side though with a convincing performance.
